- Prepare for repair
- Materials required for repair task are assembled and checked for compliance with job specifications.
- Machinery, equipment, tools and materials required for repair task are assembled and checked for readiness for use.
- Any faults in equipment or tools are addressed to ensure readiness for use.
- Footwear product is prepared to ensure readiness for repair.
- Undertake repair
- Repair is undertaken to restore footwear to standard specified using a range of techniques and materials and according to OHS practices.
- Footwear product is checked against specifications and appropriate quality standards and adjustments are made as required.
- Once adjustments are made, footwear product is returned to production line, prepared for storage or transferred to appropriate work section, as required.
- Paperwork and documentation is completed.
